God-sized appointments! The very best kind!
In 2018, our family had a prayerful goal to feed 1000 children for a month through the Feed the Hungry organization. I believed we would achieve our goal by spring 2019. In God’s mercies, we were able to meet that goal in October of 2018! We met Jess from Feed the Hungry, and what a God-sized appointment it was for all of us as we shared our hearts with one another. Such a connection! It turns out that she was in the foster care/adoption system before her work with Feed the Hungry. She has a personal story that resonates with ours!
A long-awaited completion of a project!
We were able to obtain/ship and install the air purifiers and air conditioners for Jessie’s Xinhua orphanage in China in September 2018. WHAT a long-awaited completion of a project. God is so good! He has used our efforts through our sales to support orphan care around the world. We are so excited to be a part of this blessing for these special and wonderful waiting children. They will forever have a special place in our hearts. If you are looking to buy some gifts with special meaning, please check out “Our Royal Court.” For this project, we provided a generous portion from each sale sale! Our new goal is to feed 1000 children for a month! It costs $6.00 to feed 1 child for a month. The girls want to feed 1,000 Children! Shop OurRoyalCourt.com or https://www.etsy.com/shop/OurRoyalCourt
When love shows up… the donated equipment is delivered and in use!
Thank you to all of you that were involved! Nine pieces of life improving equipment is in use. God led us to this project. He provided through your generous gifts and our Born in Your Heart jewelry sales (Now part of the Our Royal Court collection). MUCH can be done when we say YES! Our sacrifices are NOTHING compared to the victory of this equipment going through those gates. The very same gates that each lonely child first walks through when life CHANGES. Also, the mountains that this must speak to the directors and workers. “When Love shows up… everything changes.” Trust, faith and hope are being carried through these gates.
The Well Project… an interesting twist!
I am in awe of God and His multifaceted ways. Our story of all our children is perfectly and wonderfully made. This project was focused on Princess Peach Tree (Gloria) as her story unfolded. In summary, I had a vision of her crying and calling me mommy, then finding her, her asking if I had seen her crying in China because she was missing me, her drawing Born in Your Heart as a healing measure of understanding, and of course making it into Jewelry. A generous portion of the sales was applied directly to orphan care— specifically for clean water, plumbing, food and education.
